I bought this shawl as a Suss Knit Kit from Barnes and Noble. It was knit with simple increases and decreases. It finished up OK, and I probably would have learned to like it. Unfortunately, the shawl was washed in the machine when I was away this summer, and the mohair part felted. I don't like it now...much too stiff. I may try to replace the felted section some time in the future. For now, I'm keeping the shawl at work and trying to minimize the disgust I feel when I look at it. I may photograph it in its felted glory one day; this photo is one of the shawl when it was half done. Completed June 2004.
