"remembering honey" sweater 2
This is my second attempt at the Remembering Honey sweater. The first iteration was sadly itchy and shrunken. I'm happy to report that this version is much much much better. I love the fit and comfort. Completed April 2005.
Pattern: "Remembering Honey" from Interweave Knits, Spring 2003. I knit it following the 36.5" pattern in order to get a 34" size because my gauge was tighter than the pattern called for. I also modified the pattern to knit the body in the round. To knit purse stitch in round, do odd numbered rows as described but for even numbered rows, *k2tog, yo.
Yarn Brand: Elsebeth Lavold Cotton Patine in 010 Honey. It is a 100% combed cotton.
Quantity: 7 skeins. Each skein is 50 grams, approx. 121 yds.
Needles: Sizes 5 and 7 circular needles, Size 7 straight needles.
Gauge: 20 st = 4" on size 7 needles
