Interesting lace patterns in this sweater. It was a little slow going because of the relatively tight gauge. The wool yarn I used is a little itchier than I feel comfortable with on such a close-fitting sweater. Cotton yarn, as recommended in the pattern, is definitely a good idea. See the Honey sweater in progress. Completed April 2003.
Pattern: "Remembering Honey" from Interweave Knits, Spring 2003. I knit it following the 36.5" pattern in order to get a 32" size because my gauge was tighter than the pattern called for.
Yarn Brand: Reynolds Versailles, a vintage yarn. It is a 90% virgin wool, 10% vinyon blend.
Quantity: 6 skeins. Each skein is 50 grams, approx. 145 yds. It is similar to Lion Brand Wool-Ease in look and weight.
Needles: Sizes 5 and 7 straight needles.
Gauge: 20 st = 4" on size 7 needles
