I tried out a softer merino wool yarn for this scarf. Although Noro has beautiful colors, it has too many twiglets in it and is a bit rough on thin skin. (See the multidirectional diagonal scarf and multidirectional diagonal scarf 2 that I made with Silk Garden.) The Koigu Kersti ended up being very soft and fine. I would actually say it is the perfect quality yarn for a scarf. The resulting diagonal color pattern is a little too motley for my taste, but it is not ugly. Completed November 2004.
