striped baby booties

Blame it on the Holidaze, but the pattern confused me. Very strange because I had made these booties before. I somehow didn't understand from the pattern or the picture of the booties in the book that there was supposed to be a cuff. For that reason, the striping direction didn't make sense to me. oh well, now I have designed booties that look great uncuffed, but do have a cuff option. Completed December 2006.

Pattern Modification: Adjusted pattern to match gauge

Yarn Brand: Classic Elite Inca Alpaca in purple and blue

Quantity: <1 skein each color

Needles: Size 3 straight needles

Gauge: garter stitch 20 sts and 44 rows to 10 cm.
